History:

Jamil joined Stuart Karatas in May 2005, and leads our Immigration Department. He has significant expertise in appeals and judicial review cases. He specialises in a broad spectrum of UK immigration, EU Free Movement and UK Nationality Law, as well as complex asylum cases, immigration appeals and ECHR applications. He also has extensive experience in corporate and personal immigration including applications under the Points Based System. Until recently, he was accredited as a Senior Caseworker under the Solicitors Regulation Authority Accreditation Scheme for those giving advice on immigration and trains internally and externally on immigration law.
